A little worry on a new iPhone 6S remarkable feature, “Live Photos.”

Worries came up just after Apple announced its new feature, “Live Photos” on stage yesterday. (September, 9) As we all know technology always have its dark side but how much do we really aware about it?

“Live Photos” is a feature that enables all of us to record a little bit more of our memory. By default, the camera app captures a quick second before and after you take a picture. Just like a short video clip, it can record both picture and sound at the same time. To see your live photos is simple because with the new dynamic force touch feature called 3D Touch in iOS9, your still non-moving images will turn into short video clips just by your fingertips and bring your whole gallery to life. And if you still have no clue about what Live Photos is, you can think of it as an animated GIF, where the picture moves for few seconds.

Privacy issue

With Live Photos, all pictures you take will be in a video format. It can snap more than a single shot. Does this mean that the camera app is always watching what we’re doing in our private space? However, Apple claimed that any information would not be recorded until a person presses the camera shutter button. Also, the new feature can be turned off whenever you feel like it.

Sufficient Storage

Many people are afraid that Live Photos will fill up the space in their iPhones faster than ever especially on 16GB iPhones. Even though Apple claimed that Live Photos are space efficient, we are still worry that 16GB is not going to be enough and we must go for more expensive 64GB or 128GB instead.

To check how much GB do you need is easy, just take a quick look on total images and videos, phone capacity, and how much space is still available on your phone. Some people also thought that with this new feature, Apple only would benefit more. This is because people are not only buying their iPhone 6S or 6S Plus but they also need to buy more iCloud storage in order not to delete their favorite moments away.
